In the following video Dr. Warren suggests that:
- Life emptiness is a universal disease; we all need a purpose. Most of us at one time express the thought, “There’s got to be more to life than this.”
- There is a great difference between survival living, successful living, and significant living.
- Finding life purpose is not a religious issue; it is a basic and foundational life issue.
- Your world view determines your decisions, relationships, confidence, and behaviors.
- The test of your world view is not how you act in the good times but how you live in the tough times.
We all have significant stewardship of influence, relationships, talents, knowledge, ideas, opportunities, and resources … What are you doing with what you are given? This is the primary driver behind a purpose driven life.
Tips
- Take time to reflect on the great characters of history. What do you think drove them to be who they were and do what they did? List the top three that you admire along with what you think may have been their life purpose.
- Now take time to reflect on your own life purpose. What truly drives you? Is it fame, power, wealth, applause, the good of others, or the beauty of creation. Is it having a maximum impact for good define by the one who created you? This could be the most pivotal world view that will lead the rest of your life.
